Mine melted because of the DP tinted screen in 10 degree weather here in the U.K... The design isn't great for the screen and magnifying the sun....
I've just fit Michelin Power RS tyres to mine, they've been awesome in cold and damp conditions and are supposed to be extremely good on track...

I don't know if it fully answers your question but I've had the bike on track with the Rapidbike fitted and the traction control worked fine....
