This would be for a Hypermotard which doesn’t have that many areas to put the shield on. I figure that I should just try it myself.

I'd be on crack to get the KTM over the Hyper..
Seems like a rough ride, I'd rather have the Hyper. Looks better, probably handles better and sounds better. Just overall better bike..
Cant wait to hear the double exhaust. Did you get any information on the expected mileage on on a full tank being that it is smaller than before?
How long do the batteries last? And do you get many false alarms?
