mine runs at 14v all the time ,and to honist i have never seen the low battery flash even with a very low battery , i must be missing somthing ?
defo go for it as you can pick up a motor on ebay for under £500 , and dont ever belive what a conning bike shop tells you
mine does the same thing that is untill untill i fitted a new battery a "motobatt" one with a motobatt charger cost about £20 from ebay now it...
