I feel your pain, I spent two weekends of shouting at the indicators on my SS project and after a while and a few resistors it all worked fine....
I use Mer shampoo, clay mitt, towel dry, wax and then polish on my car. On the bike shampoo, dry and polish with Autoglym. Yorkie
