Have 1200r, only find neutral when engine is switched off, or when I’ve got the oil (Motul 7100) level just right and chain tension is spot on....

No, it’s just a hanger bolt, it doesn’t plug any oil/fluid

I use wd40 to clean then then wurth dry lube. Seems to work well, chain looks good.
