Stupid question, but you don't use any of your original exhaust do you? Just wondering if that little piece is part of the original system.
If the plastic on the tank was silver then it would match the rest of the silver and look OK IMHO.
Or if the black plastic on the tank was silver it would have looked OK, rather than an afterthought.

I'm going to have it done and look at a way of isolating it from vibration. If I can't come up with a solution I won't put the bolt back in!
