I confirm that the clocks need to be paired to the ecu. I got mine for 50 quid as I persuaded the seller that the unit is useless unless paired.

Looks like an STM Evo with 48t basket. I have one but mine is red and has STM marked on it. Perhaps it's a reengineered copy?
