Depends how off road you want to go. Anything that has any road bias, will be like an ice rink if you experience wet mud and anything too off road...
Suzuki is definitely a bike that would suit him, however I believe they have stated they like young talent.
Seen it done but always two tiny welds at the front, never the rear. I'm still amazed a screwdriver between the two halves won't split it wide open.
I loved his comment about it being time they got a new bike as last year they just got a new front fender and that was the extent of the bike...
