Ignition coil would bring on the light. But bad spark plug wouldnt.

Backfiring like that at a constant speed is normally bad fuel, lean misfire (air leak) or dodgy plug/ignition coil. Most likely a simple fix....
Get the termis. Have peace of mind that it's Ducati approved and has any necessary upmap which will give some sort of performance improvement...
