Yes that's right the crank should not turn freely by hand
The problem with having no preload on radial main bearings that pretty much all Ducati's use is when the engine gets hot everything expands and...
Taken from a 1000sport manual but they are all pretty much the same
They have just changed it to 23 months but you still have to be the original owner though so it doesn't help in your case
normally should have around about .20mm of preload
Hope your chin gets better
Ducati had pretty much one of each model all accessorised....what else did you need?
had read it......thinking maybe that's the problem? MCN had it on their long term MTS1200 and it didn't work on that
Put the" magic" ACF50 on it and you don't have to clean it:biggrin:
order it from one of the mail order specialist dealers- Ducati Coventry, Moto Rapido etc if they dont have it they can get one within 24/48hrs
Coincidently yes different profile tyres. Maybe something in it?
Perhaps that's the problem as most Ducatis don't have Italian electronics it's pretty much Japanese now
so if you fit it back on now if its faulty it show just come off in your hand if you pull it? bet it doesn't if its pushed home correctly
When you put them on they need a further push/tap back to click into place properly, you may think its on but its not....heard of plenty of people...
Who's done that then?
you probably got one of the promo staff that don't actually work for them other than the show to get data capture
could they spell KTM :)
Didn't really need to go to the show to find that out....2014 Ducati 899 Panigale review - Road Tests: First Rides - Visordown
