They cleaned it as part of the service but no extra re-conditioning but that's because I'd sent clean plus it didn't need much else doing.
I have - I got them to service/rebuild a used Showa HM1100 shock to then fit to my HM796. They did a great job and turnaround was pretty quick.
Get some of these on a dremel and they'll clean that up no problem. Just be careful and use a slow speed....
