To honest I like the look of the R1 , but after reading and noting reviews and comments about it I wouldn't be hurrying to ride one

Mine never misses gears no problems , use quick shifter and blipper all the time
R1 you've got to roll to a stop so as to change rider modes , can't change on the fly as you do with Pani .
Full system does , slip on doesn't

So me thinks my 1299 is gunna be a keeper if that's the case , no hardship thou loved its first season fuckin brilliant , will update suspension...

Giv it the beans in sport mode light on at 90 Klicks approx , then eased off 140 total to gas pump 16 and a bit litres put in , I defo think...
Just recently my mate had a demo 1299 with full Akra's I had my standard 1299 if anything the Akra's where slightly deeper but wouldn't have said...
New R1 you've gotta stop bike to select riding modes , power all on top end same as 1199 fuelling rough at slow speeds , s1000rr errr it's fast...
