Could be suspension I have found the rear to be a bit stiffer than I like hopefully getting that tweeked professionally soon.
I prefer that design of wheel to the other on the 1199, I got my 899 wheels coated gold and they suit the bike very well.
Maybe the owner doesn't need all the extra power of the 1199 for willy waving but prefers the asthetics of the single swinger?
Last few bikes all been GSXRs 01 and an 08, both have 180/55s neither of them felt like that.
Personal thing I guess but I really don't like them and a friend of mine who has an 899 is of the same view.

Hills do a good range of foods for dogs with various different conditions that might be worth trying, they are pricey though.
Because its much nicer than most of the parts of England ive seen and the majority of locals are nicer obviously.
