I managed to get 5000 out of the rear Z8, the front is still good for another 5k. Great wet grip, total confidence in them on wet corners as well....

Another vote for Co-Pilot here. Used it all over Belgium and France on the bike last year and it was excellent.
I have a Sealey 240v gun thing that cost £60 and gets the nut off easily. Highly recommended. Socket will be fine.

Air temperature sender, located in RHS air snorkel. You might have unplugged or disturbed the wiring.
I only do 3k P/A and it seems to go in 10k increments, or so he was telling me on the phone.
