right so new solenoid fitted, cranks strong now but no fire. will this fit the bike...

Nah its the old one, 2002.
so bike doesnt have a check engine light, just has the fuel pressure light am guessing and that never goes off.

Yes I can, it throws a U1600 which is immoblizer...could that be it? even though the immo is disasbled?
