the 05 onwards s basically got a version of the early 999R motor. You might not belive it but there's loads of info around about it.
It was a whole range of engines not just a change in how it was measured, all the dyno reports show another 12bhp or more at the wheel too.
They made quality improvements, the engine got some proper extra BHP on both models, not just one or two bhp, the R swingarm and linkages......
