Can you bleed up at the master cylinder?.... Exactly same happened on the multi when I unmounted the slave whilst changing sprocket and chain.......

The Laser socket is fine... I only use on the steel rear wheel and hub nuts. I don't use the smaller inner socket on the aluminium front wheel...
Ahhh... Just checked... The s2r 800 doesn't have clamps on the bagpipe... Just push fit... Very loose with the spazzy brillo pad esque things...
I'm sure my S2r had these in..... An absolute bitch to fit.....a sort of wire mesh type thing which compresses.....

You can get the belts from Exige on here.... As you mentioned.... I used them as do others....Exact fit....
