technically no. as long as its a vat registered garage and they use OE filters consumables etc. but in reality if theres an issue and a warranty...

personally its a half ass job. you can buy hobbygas etc now so no expensive monthly accounts with BOC etc. plus you can use it for other things....
got a wr400f for the technical bits. ive a 990 adventure. im 5 9 and a struggle to get my feet down well enough off road...so i tend not to stop!...
