bollocks that explains why i couldnt get one of them back on. i was turning it the wrong way. stupidly, the rod does not have indents or similar...
to tighten i turned it clockwise how can you tell the size from the photo?

i read that the adaptors of another stand may work
i tried those a few months back but no joy.there was talk of new management etc but nothing seems to have happened
well i did manage to get a used 1jac just need to sort adaptors
