Over here in Germany if you get pulled for a non conformity issue ie race exhaust, you get your pants pulled over your head as all modifications...

It's a few years now lol, I had a brand new 999s in 2003 and my buddy had the r, and I changed the exhausts for him to the non cat system supplied...
Hmm I would hold that judgement as both bikes are not early 2003 bikes as the Fila came out later in the production year. And the standard race...

I'm sure that I remember the original 999r 2003 had a welded can as there was a MY reference for the rebuild kit as it wouldn't fit the welded exhaust
