Used sintered pads all the time on performance cars. Great but they do give the discs a hard time. Not cheap to replace.
I think its mainly the old oil heads that used oil. The water cooled models since 2013 is it, are ok. 2 of my mates have older GS,s 2005 & 2007...

Have you had the full termi kit fitted with remap. Just had mine done it,s now just over a 1000 miles. It is unbelievable. Still not reved it out...
