Did you get the usb cable with it? It might be worth connecting it to a laptop, starting the bike and have a scan through the readings.
Yes, have a go... I didn’t think it’d sort it but it did. I rode about 5 mile first, got home then turned the ignition on / off a couple of times...
I had similar after fitting my RB Evo. I was told to take it out for a quick ride then cycle the ignition a few times. It worked for me (959)....

That was a long time ago, mate. :) The fit was good but regretted getting them in red as they stood out too much. I painted them black in the end.
