How about an 1198S???
OK, thanks.
So the operator has no discretion (serious question)?
Or maybe prices for these are starting to "normalise" to something sensible???
At 80-odd they might not bother (as long as you weren't filtering or doing a wheelie!). That's one of the few (probably the only) good thing...
Dealer said it "felt normal" but the biting point moves towards the bars????? Bit an aside, but I have a similar problem on my 1198S - have to...
Oh dear... You need one of these: [ATTACH]
If you can borrow one, I find something like a Mityvac is a good way to bleed the clutch (which I have to do regularly on my 1198S...).
There is a thread on this very subject over on the Ducati 851 and 888 site:...

Take a look at the Made in Italy web site!
Don't Valter Moto do "jackup plates" which, if you reverse them, become "jackdown plates"? Don't know if they'll fit the 888 frame though.
Surprised these haven't been sold - I had a set on my S1000RR, "engineering porn"! Out of interest, why didn't/don't you like them? What sort of...
Sums it up nicely. I have an 851 SP3 and an 1198S. The SP3 is much nicer to ride (if a bit cramped), as said you can use more of the power more...
You might like to cover up your address fully on the registration document??? GLWS.
Any recommendations? The only other ones I've seen are CNC (more expensive) and JHP (more expensive still, and currently unavailable).
Many thanks, looks like I need something from Oberon!
Andy - I realise this is quite an old thread, but did you fit the Oberon cylinder to your 1098R because you had to keep bleeding the clutch line...
