You can't deny Lorenzo is talented, but Rossi has won titles (titles being the key word) with two manufacturers. He has also won on 500, 800, 990...

Can't say I've noticed a particular vibration at that rev range, but I have found everything noticeably smooths out the more miles you do.
This is his 4th year in MotoGP, the rest were Moto2 and the old 125 class.
