I just don't recall "weight" in any tyre comparison tests. Grip, wear, wet weather, etc. yes. But weight, no.

If you have a 600 do you need the bigger (heavier?) Discs as you'll have less speed to scrub off and less weight of a bike (inertia?) Pushing forward?
