I've had 5 ducati's in the last 5 years and not had one problem in reliability.
Logic would dictate that ABS , DTC etc are all a safety benefit as opposed to not having them.

I went 1199 to 899. I prefer the 899. But I prefer to use 80% of a 899 than 30% of a 1199.
