The switch should just bolt on... [ATTACH] Different stand but the bracket is the 1098 one.
Or, like you said, just find some fork lowers. I fitted the moto Corse ones to mine but there are a couple more companies who supplied them....
Half agree with above but I personally don’t like the look of the 999 forks on the older bikes. The mudguard mounting just looks wrong. Don’t...
I had the black and purple one too. Rode that to Spain and clocked up a few thousand miles on the roads around Seville.

Hacksaw blade to make a slot across the bolt head. Gently tap with an impact wrench. It’ll move eventually.
