Not read the whole post but infinity is amazing.
bargain
I found the 899 a bit sloppy in corners and brakes were rubbish. Both points could be sorted easily though.
99% of he population wouldn't get that. Put it on a Ducati forum and everyone does. Lol
maybe this thread is my punishment for having termi's.
but think of all the money saved not replacing belts every 2 minutes
It's ok Andy. We've sorted it on the other thread. I'm polishing the "not" for £100 Eric is having a banana And every one else has gone to...
And if all else fails Eric ...... Eat a banana.
If the bike is used. How would you possibly know they aren't road legal if the stamp wasn't there? Anyway , buy the bike and all these worries...
If it bothers you that much. Send me the cans. I'll modify them to be read "road legal" . It'll involve a Dremel. £100 for this service.
The cans need to be declared as a modification. That's it. No need to start telling them anymore. I've never been asked if they road legal.
Ok, here's no bullshit every set of termi's I've had or seen have had "not for road use" . There is your answer. What people are trying to...
What we really all need is a 899R
Op , I'm not being nasty when I ask this. But do you worry a bit much?
I found the 899 lacking in torque. If it had as much punch as my 848 had I'd of probably considered it
I rode both. Went 1199.
your in the same position as 99% of other Ducati owners with termi exhaust. Just get them fitted. Declare slip on exhaust to insurance. If u ask...
Went with 6 cm both sides so it's level with the join. Looked strange the other way.
Are u sure that's the correct way round? Not 7cm at rad end and 6 at engine? The angle of the sticker is 8 degrees out if I do that way.
Surely on a double swinger a thief could just remove the wheel and spindle and take the remaining bike?
