Yes. For it to be a 'R' for me it has to be developed and sold as a 'R'. The 848 never was. The 749RS does exist, though very rare.

I was going to go for a 2.7. They seem to be cheaper, but what I would have saved in purchase price I would have spent in tax, fuel and insurance.
Looking at the 1199 system the other day the welds and general quality seem a lot better. I have the full system too. Really wanted a Akro system...
