I found that 'some bugger' throws a switch when you get to 45 and things start to change how they work; then at 60 the things start to fail fairly...

Not sure about what you mean there Pete - I have been to these people and seen the range of colours they can do....
I guess one advantage of powder-coating is the range of finishes - I haven't seen paint which really resembles chrome or nickel plating.
