could be a few things but first that comes to mind is a clogged fuel filter maybe?
so you can short out lead and still use bike - make sure you're in neutral obvs :upyeah: push bike forward to check free etc.
Did it not start because of the neutral switch actuation? - not sure if the same for all models, but switch on the clutch lever ought to allow you...
and to give credit where it's due - the company that turned everything around the most quickly for me (ever) was Sheila's Wheels. A car reversed...
definitely switch playing up then, it's probably failed electrically but sometimes it's "mechanical" because the plunger isn't travelling far...
That is a very quick turnaround, my last one was at least 2 months.
when you say you are positive - all you have to do is earth that wire on to the crankcase with the ignition on to check that the light comes on....
is it two lead or one lead? - you can find the connector and disconnect just to confirm that it's the switch that is completing the circuit...
