No. The Streetfighter is the V4 naked bike. I think the 950 Monster will be the best Monster for riding for some years.
The ST was never a big seller though was it? I don't think the current Supersport is either .

The only way to make new bikes lighter is to leave off loads off equipment or make them ridiculously expensive by using the lightest raw materials.
But its boring according to a friend that has one. It doesn't entice him out on a ride.

I still bet the V4 will show the V2 a clean pair of heels. I loved every moment of my 2 Multis but always open to something new.

The world constantly changes. We should never assume our generation will always pull all the strings, it doesn't work like that.
I have had emails from Ducati for a few years now since i first bought a new bike from them. Triumph also do much of the their marketing anaylsis...
I believe Ducati UK have the bikes in the Country but won't release them until they know how much they cost.
If you have to use panniers then go for the best thing for the job. They look OK from my point of view.
