Thanks Russ - I’m assuming those Aprilia bolts aren’t the same as on the 996? Or are they and that’s why you provided the link?
These calliper ones are all mangled and rounded so probably need replacing I'd have thought. Most of the rest of the stuff could get re-zinced!
There’s a number of screws and fasteners on my bike which are tired, but perhaps none more offensively than the screws holding on the callipers....
Thank you! Super helpful :)
Maybe this is why it doesn't automatically say it fits 996s? I can get the same chain with 112 links from Sportsbikeshop for £64 so maybe that's...
I’ve been trying to find the right bits to refresh my drivetrain and I’m pretty sure that the JT525 sprockets I’ve found (15 and 39) are the right...

Much wisdom here - thank you :upyeah:
My new project desperately needs a new set of boots - having read a few threads it seems 180/55s are preferred for encouraging turn in. My...
Yes I completely agree. It’s a classic bike and it will ride like a classic bike. I was being a bit glib. I’ve got classic cars too and the...
Make the bike handle a little more like my 2020 BMW S1000RR!
Have PMd
My understanding is that you can change the head angle on a 996S. Pretty sure mine is in the lazier angle at the moment from looking at the bike....
Belts are one of the many jobs that need doing on my new steed. Anyone got any experience of these?...
The 30th Anniversary blade is seriously nice. Expensive too but nice all the same! Here’s a couple of my Hondas - 2019 SP which has now moved on,...
Just spoke to the owner and agreed a price - looks like the project starts here! So - here come the questions, sorry! 1) what oil does it take?...
