I had a similar problem and found that I had connected the wire from the starter switch to the wrong plug near the head lights. Good luck.
Back brake, what's that, you don't need one of those for the track? Engine braking is more than enough or you're not on the front ones hard enough!

It doesn't do anything unless you get it mapped. Mine made another 7 hp once custom mapped and smoothed out the 4000 rpm hole.
