That looks like the sort of thing ,I don't have the bracket either though,the bolt hole is different ,probably along with the rest of it too I bet

uncovered the bike and had a look, the levers do look different ,not just colou rwise ,on each side as well Ive been looking at a few online...
So the chrome one is the wrong one,and the gun metal/ grey silver is the correct one?
