The new SL is 10 kg's lighter then the old one! No carbon frame. A lot of titanium is used but god knows how they achived this low weight.

Installed the ceramic carbon heatshield on ma old 1199 today. Some small scratches on it as it was used but anyway improved the look 1000%...
