I just disconnected the cable from the key part, attached a small cable tie, and routed it out under the seat area, couldn't really see it, worked...

So good to see somebody putting a lot of miles on these bikes, it's what they are made for. Don't get why are so many are scared of "high" mileage...

I had D170 on a 1299, 108dB no baffles, 105 with
They weren't at BSB with lots of bikes as usual, probably explains why, shame.
Think they've moved the mounts back 25mm to give pillion more legroom, not sure though!

Take it to your dealer, if faulty they'll change it under warranty, mine failed after about 18,000.
