Don't tempt fate Al, its taken 4 years to get her running, I'm sure it was the rubbers between carbs and engine. Brand new second hand rubbers...

Hello and welcome. I don't think it will fit as there's no mounting lugs on the SS. Do I fell a tread coming on involving alot of welding!!
changing them looks to be the easy part, getting to them would be another matter!!

Mine had rotted out when I got it, mixed up a load of fiberglass resin and tipped it in and then spun it around for a while, its water tight now....
