I've got a pair of Maple jeans... not exactly cheap but they look great, quality is also great. Lots of kevlar lining and they come with removable...

I think Evo Corse also has QS and DTC.
I would look quite interesting... although anything lower than the current clip-ons would be rather uncomfy. I think raised clip-ons are a good...
