You've two fans on the bike. They heat up but cool down quickly when the fans kick in. You dont really need to wait for it to hit 40 to ride it....

Folks... sorry, i never updated this thread. The reason my bike cut out was down to a 3 amp fuse ! Going up a mountain in Austria i cut out....
stay mid gear, highish revs. But faster is better. Higher revs means that if the wind takes you, you can speed up to resist it. Works for me.
