Personally I used silicone then held the covers on with cable ties overnight, job done !
There are still some bits available: Rear axle & adjusters £20 to suit grey swing arm & postage 57mm Termi system to suit deep sump grey...

Just used mine for the first time in anger at Almeria, sublime at high revs, but like has been said above at slow speeds I just used the clutch.
I didn't fit it but mine has a very similar thing with a block of shaped black plastic glued to the bottom of the stand, works a treat.

As an ex 1199 owner, because it was bloody horrible to ride ! personal opinion of course.
