I have had it done myself, and as i went to meet BB1000 had the tps reset done too.
He doesn't need a new ecu though, just the correct DP map for his set up using his existing ecu. £35 to get it on there, courtesy of ChrisW or BB1000.
I love my 1198 mirrors as i think to how bad the 999 ones are and count myself lucky.
Is that not what he is trying to do? He has the right ecu, just the wrong map.
