Tidy looking bike but as Denzil et al say it's had a few mods done, I would wonder if it had been in an accident the forks are from a later bike...
You're right Creamy it goes all the way through and locates in the frame, the only thing moving are the rollers in the bearings which rotate...

Are we talking just spinning the wheel or is the chain & sprocket still attached ? If it's just the wheel and the pads aren't touching it should...

What's the deal with the "keysense" aerial doobrie on 848, 1098 etc, does it not allow clocks to power up or fuel pump or starter, ignition etc?...
