No you don't have to remove the rear wheel, that's held on with a nut on the other side :) If you go for a hollow pin chain (DID?) there's loads...

For original parts just ring a dealer there's plenty about most have got a spares/service/parts department the guys/gals that work em are usually...
I also think you need to position the tool/holder better, if the basket castellations are positioned in the spaces of the tool it'll drop a bit...
There isn't anything on top of the centre nut, looks like you've got everything you need, but don't know if that holder/tool is up to the job...
