As someone sad enough to read oil studies, Motul do seem to come out at or near the top in all critical aspects, hence why I use the stuff.
It's a really quick and easy mod. Just take the oem one off, noting how it fits and works and replace it with the Yamaha one.
Imho, Motul 7100 and you can get a forum discount from Opie oils. 300 v is expensive because it's a racing oil. 7100 is their full spec fully...
