Absolutely but I imagine there's nothing quite like having the bike there in front of you...
If you're getting the vbatt error, that suggests the proper voltage is not arriving, even if it's available from the battery. Poor or corroded...
Can you get the bike to Derek in Forfar. He'll sort you out...

Iirc, the Ducati Performance filters are supposed to be rather like the description but don't have a great reputation for efficient filtration.
It certainly is supposed to give better filtration for at least equal flow, maybe more flow. If there is more flow, presumably any extra airflow...

Pipercross seem to be the most highly regarded. They are reusable and the cone shape gives them a large surface area for extra flow.
Has the front coil or plug had a chance to get wet?? As everybody says, this has to be your prime suspect for dropping on to one cylinder.
