Hi Stu, nice rear sets. ;) Brake light is £22.06p (inc VAT) from Snells new. Its the same as 1299 part no. I know as ive just replaced mine. :)
I always understood them to be about vibrations. To dampen the oscillations of the cooling fins. Which prevents fracture etc. Put them back in.
