Just learnt that number 1. above is headstock number 1195 but that the 2 year warranty offerred actually isn't available (no surprise there).

What put you off the Desmosedici?
If you are considering both then make sure you try them. Whether the testastretta is better or not is to some extent a question of personal taste...
