If you did want the male plug for the optimate connector either Maplins or a model shop would get you what you need
The top is same plug used on radio controlled car batteries so as Steve said will be an optimate, bare in mind that this will not be switched live...
Give Ducati a ring and ask them if they are the right part. If they were in when the garage took ownership of the bike I doubt they'd have them...

I have a Sessions, and a hero 3+. The session is awesome, I don't have an issue with battery, it switches off when not being used and has no power...
