Is the master cylinder still the original? I remember fitting a bleeder to mine when I had it and helped in getting all the air out.
First though is, does it need the small (10mm ish) pushrod extension?

Andy’s right. And looking at the photos, the back half of the subframe had already snapped before the amateur attempt to strengthen it
